Location Details

This option is used to identify the physical location of an area or site within the organisation.

Prerequisites

  • Post Code Ranges
  • Location Type optional

Rules and Guidelines

  • Location Details established in this option are used on the Organisation Units window
  • Location codes are also used in the Safety module.
  • The Refresh Organisation Hierarchy must be run if any changes are made on this window.
  • It is not necessary to establish codes that follow a structure as they will become redundant as soon as changes are made.

Field Information

ClosedCode*

This field displays a 10-character code that represents the location.

ClosedDescription*

This field displays a description of the location code.

ClosedAddress*

This field displays the details of the location.

ClosedPostal Address

This field displays the postal address if different to the physical address.

ClosedInt. State

This field displays the state of an international destination, e.g. Warwickshire (UK), PA (USA).

ClosedInt. Postcode

This field displays the postcode of an international destination, e.g. CV22 OQE, 19245.

ClosedCountry

This field displays the country code of the physical location.

ClosedPhone Country Code

This field displays the phone number of the physical location.

ClosedFax Country Code

This field displays the fax number of the physical location.

ClosedType

This field displays a location type that details this physical location, e.g. Branch, Franchise, Store etc.

ClosedStatus

This field displays the current status of this physical location.

ClosedTrading Name

This field displays the trading name of this physical location.

ClosedComments

This field displays comments about the location that could be used when constructing reports using Extractor.
